    In Chapter 2 of The Connected Educator , Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach explains the importance of becoming a connected learner by building strong professional relationships instead of working in isolation. She introduces the idea of connected learning through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Personal Learning Networks (PLNs), and Communities of Practice (CoPs). These groups allow individuals to collaborate, share knowledge, and learn from others both locally and online.
